BP May Hire BHP's Anderson as Chairman

    BP may hire Paul Anderson as chairman to replace Peter Sutherland, the Sunday Telegraph reported, without saying where it got the information. Anderson, a non-executive director of BHP Billiton Ltd. and previously chairman of Duke Energy, is a leading candidate for the role, the Sunday Telegraph said. At least one other person is being considered and a decision will probably be made by July, the newspaper reported. BP officials weren't immediately available to comment.
